This page will have details for our wedding.

homepage for everything Brent and Natalie ;-)
Loads of people are driving (or catching the train) to North Devon on Thursday evening after work, then spending Friday in Barnstaple. Wedding on Saturday. And then going back to London on Sunday.
Natalie will be down in Barnstaple the week leading up to the wedding, however I'll only be getting down to Barnstaple on Thursday.
There are many different ways to get to Barnstaple. The two main methods are by car or train.
Car:
From London, it's about a 4 hour journey (220 miles), depending on how fast (ahem, careful) you drive. You can take the M4 motorway west from London, and then change onto the M5 motorway at Bristol. Then the "link-road" (aka A361) to Barnstaple.

Train:
If you don't like driving, then catch the train! From London Paddington, it's just over 2 hours to Exeter (St Davids), and then another hour or so to Barnstaple on the snail-train (or hire a car from Exeter to Barnstaple). The trains are operated by First Great Western, and can be booked at the TrainLine website (http://www.thetrainline.com)
Walking:
This is the green option, and you're definitely going to save all those carbon emission thingys! Book out several days, as GoogleMaps says it's going to take you a while... link
We'll be organising a bus/coach from Barnstaple Town Square at about midday on Saturday 16th June. Please let us know if you require a seat on this bus.
After the wedding, we have let a couple of local Taxi companies know, and they'll be ready for your booking.
There are lots of things to do in North Devon and around Barnstaple. There are lots of lovely beaches (when the weather is nice) near Barnstaple, within a 20-30 minute drive.
Recommend Beaches:
Croyde
Ilfracombe - rocky, but go checkout Tunnels Beaches
Instow
Saunton Sands - nice big long beach
Tunnels Beaches (at Ilfracombe) - really cool, we like it
Westward Ho! - come on, it has an exclamation mark in its name!
Woolacombe - another favourite!
